Job summary

RXO, Inc. in Auburn, ME is seeking a Supervisor, Last Mile Operations to lead a team and drive productivity while upholding safety and quality.

The role offers clear day-to-day leadership responsibilities and the chance to influence performance in a fast-moving logistics environment. You will assign work, monitor equipment and inventory, mentor associates, and ensure adherence to safety programs across North America.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong math skills and solid analytical ability.
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign work activities and monitor group activities.
• Instruct associates in proper equipment, operational and maintenance procedures; guide team in understanding housekeeping requirements.
• Monitor and maintain availability of tools, materials and supplies.
• Oversee the usage of equipment and ensure team adherence to all safety procedures and programs.
• Manage inventory, including monitoring levels and performing merchandise reconciliation.
• Assist with resolving problems to ensure maximum associate productivity; take necessary action to correct substandard performance.

Compensation for this role is $65,000 annually. The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.

As the Supervisor, Last Mile Operations at RXO, you will inspire your associates to achieve maximum productivity, exhibit professionalism and strive to be error free.

What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like

• Assign work activities and monitor group activities

At a Minimum, You’ll Need

• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation Experience with Microsoft Office It’d be great if you also have:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong math skills and solid analytical ability
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills

This Job Requires The Ability To

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
