Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking a Last Mile Operations Supervisor to lead a team in our Auburn, ME facility. You will supervise associates, coordinate day-to-day activities, and ensure safe, efficient operations across the last mile network.

The role requires 2+ years in supervision, 5+ years in logistics/transportation, and strong command of Microsoft Office. Strong communication and leadership skills will help you drive productivity and quality results.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assign work activities and monitor group activities.
• Instruct associates in proper equipment, procedures and housekeeping requirements.
• Monitor and maintain availability of tools, materials and supplies.
• Oversee the usage of equipment and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Manage inventory and perform reconciliations.
• Assist with resolving problems to maximize associate productivity.

As the Last Mile Operations Supervisor at RXO, you will inspire your associates to achieve maximum productivity, exhibit professionalism and strive to be error free.

What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like

• Assign work activities and monitor group activities
• Instruct associates in proper equipment, operational and maintenance procedures; guide team in understanding housekeeping requirements
• Monitor and maintain availability of tools, materials and supplies
• Oversee the usage of equipment and ensure team adherence to all safety procedures and programs
• Manage inventory, including monitoring levels and performing merchandise reconciliation
• Assist with resolving problems to ensure maximum associate productivity; take necessary action to correct substandard performance

At a Minimum, You’ll Need

• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation
• Experience with Microsoft Office

It’d Be Great If You Also Have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong math skills and solid analytical ability
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills

This Job Requires The Ability To

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
