Job summary

Baptist Health in Miami seeks an experienced Imaging Technologist to coordinate daily operations across imaging modalities and ensure safe, efficient, high-quality patient imaging. The role involves staffing coordination and collaboration with staff and leaders to resolve issues promptly.

The candidate must hold ARRT certifications in relevant modalities, be AMA program graduate, and meet Florida licensure/certification requirements. This is a full-time, on-site position in the Miami area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved program in radiology or related modality is required or strongly preferred.
• Florida licensure in applicable modalities may be required by Baptist Health South Florida.
• Registration or certification as required by the Baptist Health South Florida technologist job description.

Description

Effectively and efficiently coordinates the daily operations and patient flow of one (1) imaging modalities. Responsible for evaluating and coordinating daily staffing needs. Consistently accomplishes operational safety, efficiency and quality goals. Works collaboratively with staff and manager to prevent and resolve issues/conflicts as they arise. Communicates information in a timely manner to staff and leader(s). Estimated salary range for this position is $90248.55 - $117323.12 / year depending on experience.

Additional Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved AMA program in 1 of the following modalities: Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Mammography, Non-Invasive Vascular Sonography, and Echocardiology.
• Six months leadership experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Recent graduates may be considered.
• Licensure in the applicable modalities as required by the State of Florida.
• Registration or certification as requires by Baptist Health South Florida technologist job description for the applicable modalities.
