Job summary

The Wonderful Company LLC's Wonderful Citrus division in Edinburg, Texas seeks a Supervisor I, Farming Rotational to lead multiple farming operations across nurseries, shops, pest control, spray operations, and general cultural farming. You will supervise full-time and up to 60 seasonal employees, plan irrigation, and coordinate daily activities to ensure productive citrus production.

Requires a B.S. in agricultural studies or 3 years of operations experience, leadership ability, and readiness

• Rotate through all areas of the Farming division, including Nursery Operation, Shops, Pest Control, Spray Operations, General Cultural Farming.
• Help supervise, plan, organize, and coordinate activities pertaining to production of citrus in assigned geographic areas.
• Supervise day-to-day operations including fertility, pest control, weed control, irrigation, pruning, frost protection, and related ranch projects.
• Provide direction, leadership, training and guidance; promote teamwork within the labor force and other departments.
• Schedule, coordinate, supervise and monitor all irrigation functions by implementing irrigation schedules.
• Supervise full-time employees year-round, and up to 60 seasonal employees.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

This position is based in Edinburg, Texas.
