Job summary

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Supervisor to lead a team of staff and specialists, ensuring service and quality goals are met while providing HR oversight.

You'll manage daily cleaning, floor care, waste disposal, and moving services, with PM shift hours (2:00pm–10:30pm) and rotating weekends/holidays, 40 hours weekly, starting at $47,500 annually with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 2 years of experience in commercial or healthcare environmental services or supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to work PMs- typically 2:00pm-10:30pm with rotating weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide organizational leadership to a group of environmental services staff and specialists.
• HR oversight for the department to ensure goals are met in service and quality.

Responsibilities Include

• Ensure goals are met in both service and quality and provide HR oversight for the department
• Daily cleaning as well as projects, carpet and hard surface floor care, waste disposal, and moving services
• Shift management and scheduling
• Foster healthy relationships with other leaders as well as promoting those within the department

What's Available

• Full time, 1.0 FTE - 40 hours/ week
• Schedule: PMs-typically 2:00pm-10:30pm with flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays.
• Location: Onsite in La Crosse, WI
• Starting salary $47,500 and up, based on your years of experience.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 2 years of experience in commercial or healthcare environmental services or related field; or 2 years supervisory experience in healthcare or related field
• Valid Driver's License, Required
• Ability to work PMs- typically 2:00pm-10:30pm with flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays.
