Lifespace Communities is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor for GreenFields of Geneva in Geneva, IL. The role leads environmental services operations, ensuring high standards in health center, apartments, and common areas, with accountability for inspections, training, and scheduling.

The supervisor oversees cleaning quality, moves coordination, and equipment/supply management, aligning with Lifespace’s mission to deliver meaningful experiences for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years of applicable experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• State issued driver's license with a clean driving record as defined by current insurance mandates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily quality assurance inspections in health center, apartment, guest rooms and common areas.
• Inspect guest rooms regularly to ensure cleanliness and show appearance; communicate improvements to director.
• Inspect new moves in apartments for cleaning quality.
• Coordinate and assist with room transfers in health care areas.
• Coordinate spring cleaning projects.
• Coordinate work schedules and procedures of the department.
• Ensure all department team members complete training for equipment, chemicals, and community policies annually; document training.
• Inspect equipment daily for repair and safety needs.
• Monitor supplies/equipment usage and maintain budget; order items as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree

Three to five years applicable experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

A few details about the role:

• Conduct daily quality assurance inspections in health center, apartment, guest rooms and all common areas to ensure work is up to standard and act promptly when needed.
• Inspect guest rooms on a standard basis to ensure cleanliness and excellent show appearance. Any items or conditions that need improvement must be communicated to the director.
• Inspect all new moves in apartments for cleaning quality.
• Coordinate and assist with room transfers in health care areas.
• Coordinate spring cleaning projects.
• Coordinate the work schedules and procedures of the department.
• Ensure that all department team members have completed training of all equipment, chemicals, and community policies/procedures annually and training forms documented once complete.
• Inspect equipment daily to determine repair, maintenance needs and cleanliness/safety of equipment.
• Monitor all supplies/equipment used in the daily operations of the department, daily.
• Chemical/supply/equipment inventories conducted monthly; order needed items within maintained budget.
