Job summary

Providence Swedish in Edmonds is seeking a Supervisor for Environmental Services who will oversee assigned personnel to ensure work is performed in accordance with established policies and procedures. You will assist in training staff to ensure understanding and compliance.

Responsibilities include scheduling, supply tracking, ordering, on-the-job and classroom training, and safe handling of chemicals, with emphasis on inspections, audits, and HIPAA disposal.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of college coursework
• 3 years in a supervisory role with 15+ employees
• Excellent customer service experience
• Experience scheduling, supply tracking, and training
• Experience handling chemicals and safety processes
• Labor tracking, disciplinary actions, audits & HIPAA disposal

Description

Supervises the work of assigned personnel to ensure work is completed in conformance with established policies and procedures. Assists in training employees to ensure their understanding of policies and procedures. Including any other tasks or responsibilities that are given by the Manager or Director of Environmental Services Department at any given time.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: 1 or more years of college
• 3 years of proven experience in a supervisory role with 15+ employees
• Must have excellent customer service mannerisms and experience
• Progressively responsible for scheduling, supply tracking and ordering, class room training and on the job training, mixing & usage of chemicals
• Equipment maintenance, labor tracking, route of work flow, disciplinary actions & progress reports, HIPPA documentation disposal, Inspections & Audit tracking documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital setting
