DRH Health in Duncan, OK seeks an ED RN Supervisor to coordinate staff and resources for efficient patient care. You will lead the ED team, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with stroke protocols and quality measures.
Requirements include a nursing license and leadership experience; BLS, NIHSS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, ENPC, TNCC are expected with time to obtain where needed. This role emphasizes safety, communication, and cross-department collaboration.
The ED RN Supervisor is responsible and accountable for coordinating and organizing personnel and other resources to meet the patient care functions of the organization in a cost-effective manner. Collaborates to provide crisis management, interpret policy and procedure, and assure timely and effective communication and collaboration between individuals and departments. Represents the organizational leadership throughout the health system on a 24-hour basis and collaborates to make decisions and act on behalf of the Patient Care Services leadership team. Oversees those who perform duties in the ED to include conducting meetings, completing job performance appraisals, managing the daily schedule including verifying and approving team member time and leave, and managing the daily schedule of house supervisors.
Prior nursing experience required. Prior leadership experience preferred. Communication skills including fluency in oral and written English. Basic computer skills including the ability to send/receive/email, navigate information technology associated with the position, and use Electronic Health Record information tools. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; Ability to remain flexible to quickly adapt to urgent situations. Ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position.
Associate or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a program accredited by the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA).
Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Oklahoma or multistate licensure in a party state in compliance with primary residency rules and requirements. American Heart Association BLS and NIHSS required; May have up to 30 days from date of hire or transfer to obtain. ACLS, PALS, and CPI Training required; May have up to 1 year from date of hire or transfer to obtain. ENPC and TNCC required; May have up to 2 years from date of hire or transfer to obtain. For those positions requiring travel, a current valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance must be maintained.
