Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee, Inc. is seeking a full-time nursing leader to manage staffing and ensure compliance with approved nursing standards within budget. The role provides clinical expertise in patient placement and coordinates transfers to support continuous patient care.

Serves as a clinical resource for patient care activities and problem resolution.Minimum Education: Has completed the basic professional curricula of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing, and holds or is entitled to hold a diploma or degree therefrom.Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License. Certification in area of specialty preferred.Work Experience: 1 - 2 years related experience.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of general disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways. Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner. Communicates appropriately to define/resolve immediate problems and promote continuity of patient care. Communicates with staff, patients, and families to identify and resolve problems. Communicates appropriately with Administrative Supervisor, and/or ancillary departments. Communicates shift/unit activities to management as appropriate. Serves as a clinical resource for patient care activities and problem resolution. Demonstrates professional judgment in response to changing patient/unit situations. Monitors and evaluates standards of care. Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care as necessary to meet patient needs. Assists in revision and development of policies, procedures, and established protocols. Supports SFHS goals through PI and educational activities. Identifies education/training needs of personnel.
