Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Clinical Supervisor RN to coordinate and manage the clinic's clinical support staff and workflows, bringing a nursing perspective to the clinic leadership team and upholding high standards of care.

This role leads staffing, supports delegation to licensed and unlicensed personnel, and works to improve quality and skill levels across ambulatory settings. The position includes benefits and a collaborative, patient-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• WA Registered Nurse license upon hire.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• 3 years direct patient care experience, ambulatory setting preferred.
• Experience delegating nursing tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage clinical support staff and workflows.
• Lead nursing activities within the clinic leadership team.
• Uphold nursing standards and improve staff quality and skills.

The Clinical Supervisor RN coordinates and manages the clinical support staff and the clinical workflows and activities within the clinic. This position functions as an integral member of the clinic leadership team, bringing the professional nursing perspective to the group and upholding the standards of nursing practice. Oversees the care provided by clinical support staff and initiates efforts to improve the quality and skill levels of the clinical staff members.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 3 years of Direct patient care experience, preferably in an ambulatory setting.
• Experience in delegation of nursing responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed personnel, preferably within the ambulatory setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
• Upon hire: Provider Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
• Previous charge/lead nurse experience
