Providence is seeking a Claims Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Claims Processing and UM Denial Letter Units. Working under the direction of the Manager, Claims, you will supervise staff and ensure reporting and compliance with AB1455 and CMS guidelines.

Qualifications

  • 3 years experience in a leadership role within medical claims related field
  • 5 years experience in medical/institutional claims examining within a medical group/IPA setting claim processing experience
  • 2 years experience in a medical/institutional claims customer services unit within a health plan medical group or IPA setting

Description

Working under the direction of the Manager, Claims, this position has direct responsible for the supervision of staff and for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Claims Processing and UM Denial Letter Units. Additional responsibilities include reporting functions to ensure compliance with AB1455, attention to CMS guidelines and department policy and procedures.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3 years experience in a leadership role within medical claims related field
  • 5 years experience in medical/institutional claims examining within a medical group/IPA setting claim processing experience
  • 2 years experience in a medical/institutional claims customer services unit within a health plan medical group or IPA setting
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Customer service experience within the Health Care Industry
  • Access, Teleform and IDX experience

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Providence Clinical Network (PCN) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care. Pay Range: $39.45 - $61.24
