Job summary

OhioGuidestone is seeking a skilled supervisor to lead client-facing teams across Ohio. The role emphasizes program integrity, fiscal accountability, and staff development to deliver high-quality behavioral health services.

You will oversee staff performance, coordinate trainings, and collaborate with agencies to ensure contract compliance while upholding our values of inclusion and ethics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience managing client- or patient-facing teams.
• 1+ year of experience as a Care Coordinator within OhioRISE or similar program.
• Proficient with service delivery and case management fundamentals.
• Knowledge of human behavior and performance; behavioral and affective disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to assigned staff, including hiring, training, motivating and evaluating personnel; implement discipline procedures.
• Assure fiscal accountability of all assigned programs; ensure services are documented and billing requirements are met; support budget compliance.
• Ensure program integrity, compliance and evaluation; adapt programs as standards change; meet licensing, regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Lead interpretation and support of agency policies; help develop program outcome measures and quality improvements.
• Maintain confidentiality of client interactions and data within agency standards.
• Demonstrate positive leadership and promote an inclusive work environment with internal and external contacts.
• Show flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested.

Starting Rate: $55,640

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate the values and guiding principles of Our Promise each day, performing with the highest standards of excellence, integrity and ethics.
• Provide direct supervision to assigned staff, including by not limited to: guidance and direction of assigned work, assist in hiring of new staff, training, motivating, and evaluating personnel, provide or coordinate staff training, work with employees to correct deficiencies, and implement discipline procedures.
• Perform related administrative responsibilities; reviews and maintains monthly/quarterly related reports, records, and other documents; responds to emails and phone calls timely; attends and provides various trainings and meetings; communicates with other agencies, departments, and vendors regarding required paperwork, contract compliance and consults with other county agencies and/or supportive services as necessary.
• Assure fiscal accountability of all assigned programs and services; including ensuring services are adequately documented and that billing requirements are met, working pro-actively to assure budget compliance, and taking immediate action to resolve fiscal problems should they occur.
• Ensure the integrity of program and service delivery, compliance and evaluation and moves to adapt programs/services as compliance standards change in an effective and efficient manner. Ensures compliance with internal standards and goals, all contract/grant specifications, as well as licensing, regulatory and accreditation standards
• Assume a leadership role in the interpretation and support of agency policies (including HR, Compliance, etc.), implementation of industry best practice standards throughout assigned programs, aiding in the development/implementation of program outcome measures to ensure quality service implementation.
• Maintains minimal productivity level and the confidentiality of client or collateral interaction within Agency defined standards.
• Demonstrate positive leadership, promote an inclusive work environment and present the Agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts.
• Exhibit positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.

Education/Experience:

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a similar role; specifically managing client- or patient-facing team members OR 1+ year of experience as a Care Coordinator within the OhioRISE program or a comparable care coordination role.
• Proficient with service delivery and case management fundamentals preferred
• Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
