Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Nursing Leader to supervise cardiovascular clinic services, oversee program planning, and manage finances and operations. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care through strong leadership of the care team and collaboration with site leadership.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • 3+ years of hospital or clinic Registered Nurse experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse - MN or WI as applicable upon hire.
  • Current BLS certification from AHA/Red Cross or in-house training within 90 days.
  • ACLS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises patient care, provides program planning and development, financial and operations management in cardiovascular clinic services.
  • Supervises day-to-day activities with responsibility for communication, problem solving, staff development, resource availability, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Ensures delivery of quality patient care by working with care team members and others in leadership for communication and resource development.
  • Coordination and supervision of daily operations.
  • Participates in daily huddles to ensure nursing and clinical care team members have the equipment and resources required for patient care and to accomplish clinical objectives.
  • Hires, manages, leads and engages team members to drive performance to support patient care and clinical objectives.
  • Ensures effective orientation processes and clinical training to enable team members to operate at the top of their licensure or certification for optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Builds and retains engaged team by utilizing employee engagement data, tools and methods.
  • Supports and manages staff volumes.
  • Participates in development and management of the clinical operations budget and capital requests.
  • May manage a remote and/or onsite workforce.
  • Partners with site leadership to develop, implement and evaluate patient care delivery processes.
  • Utilizes patient experience and feedback to inform improvements and recovery as needed.
  • Empowers and supports care team members to resolve patient complaints and concerns; promotes service recovery culture.
  • Supports regulatory and safety compliance, integrity and confidentiality of patient information and data.

Requirements
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field
  • 3+ years of hospital or clinic Registered Nurse experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Project management and initiative experience preferred
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
  • 2+ years hospital or clinic registered nurse experience in cardiovascular specialty preferred
  • Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required if working in MN upon hire
  • Licensed Registered Nurse - WI Dept of Safety & Professional Services required if working in WI upon hire
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Allina in-house BLS training (within 90 days of hire)
  • ACLS Certification preferred
  • Medium Work: Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally
