About The Position

There is an exciting opportunity at Eagle Crest South in La Crosse! We are looking for a caring and compassionate individual to join our team of healthcare professionals as the Assisted Living Supervisor.

This is a 64‑hour position that generally works Monday‑Friday business hours, but may require occasional night or weekend work to connect with staff or fill in shifts. The position may be combined with other duties to make additional hours for the right candidate.

As Supervisor, you will work with staff, residents, and families in our Eagle Crest South Community; primarily responsible for the supervision of staff in our Assisted Living and Independent + apartments, and may also assist in Memory Care or High Acuity units as needed. The successful candidate will provide resident, family, and staff support in accordance with our Core Values and care philosophy and goals.

Duties include interviewing, hiring, and training resident‑care staff, conducting new‑hire and annual performance reviews and discipline when necessary, and assisting with scheduling. The Supervisor assists the nursing team with new admissions and discharges, may set up and attend care conferences with the nurse, works with the life‑enrichment department to ensure a vibrant activity program, assists the nurse with duties as needed, orders supplies, and maintains overall daily operations of the unit. The successful candidate will also assist with strategic and facility action plans, oversee volunteers, and perform other duties as assigned. Professionalism and dependability are required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to respond to residents’ needs and manage the complexity of Assisted Living.
• Possess supervisory or leadership qualities, time‑management, and assessment abilities.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Suite, internet, and other databases, with the ability to learn new programs quickly.
• Must learn and implement policy changes as state and facility requirements change.
• Must maintain a current driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Must be willing and able to be flexible with time to fill in shifts as needed.
• Preferred education and experience include:
  • Associate’s degree or higher in a healthcare‑related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a non‑healthcare field with one year of experience in assisted living, home care, or nursing home or similar client population.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of experience in a healthcare‑related field involving direct contact with our client population, and who has completed a department‑approved assisted‑living administrators training course.
