Position Overview

The Supervisor Assistant supports departmental operations by assisting with the coordination and supervision of daily activities, personnel, and workflow processes. This role helps ensure operational efficiency, employee productivity, and compliance with company policies and procedures while supporting management in achieving departmental goals and objectives.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist in supervising daily operations and supporting departmental goals, objectives, and KPIs.
  • Coordinate and monitor employee workflow to ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Support the training, coaching, and development of team members to improve performance and operational consistency.
  • Assist with scheduling staff, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring attendance and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Address and help resolve operational issues, employee concerns, and customer service matters in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and departmental documentation as required.
  • Monitor inventory, supplies, or operational resources to support departmental needs and efficiency.
  • Assist management with implementing process improvements and operational initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, management, vendors, and other departments as needed.
  • Support performance evaluations and provide feedback regarding employee performance and development.
  • Ensure all required approvals, reports, and operational procedures are completed accurately and on time.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Min: USD $32.00/Hr.

Education/Experience
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Relevant industry certifications or licenses preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing schedules and operational demands.
  • Ability to work overtime, modified schedules, or occasional weekends as business needs require.
  • Work in a typical office environment, sitting at a desk and performing prolonged computer work, with occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Maintain dependable transportation and consistent, reliable attendance to meet customer service and operational needs.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions within established company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate in person, by phone, and electronically, including on a tablet, smartphone, and other office technology.
  • Travel as required to support project and operational needs.
  • Perform all work on-site and in person; this is not a remote or hybrid position.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull at least 25 pounds.
