Job summary

GLOVIS America, Inc. is seeking a Vehicle Processor- Supervisor to maintain a steady flow of processed vehicles meeting quality standards. You will lead the Vehicle Processor team and ensure accurate documentation using computer terminals and handheld scanners.

This role requires hands-on inspection, data entry, and adherence to safety procedures across stations to keep production on schedule. Prior supervisory ops experience is valued.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 4-6 years of operations and customer service experience.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience required.
  • Valid driver license required.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, inspect, and process vehicles to confirm proper operation and documentation.
  • Input processing information into workstation terminals and review data.
  • Lead and train team members, ensuring timely, accurate completion of tasks.
  • Coordinate with internal/external customers and adjust priorities as needed.

Summary

The Vehicle Processor- Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a continuous flow of processed vehicles that meet quality standards for transport. The position also properly completes necessary documentation and uses computer terminals and handheld computerized scanning equipment as required. In addition, this position will lead the Vehicle Processor team in timely and accurate task completion.

Responsibilities
Vehicle identification, inspection, and processing
  • Thoroughly inspect interior and exterior of vehicles to confirm proper operation as they exit the plant
  • Monitor vehicle condition and record all malfunctioning or damaged items on work orders or survey documents
  • Utilize a workstation computer to input and review all necessary vehicle processing information
  • Keep accurate accounts of all vehicles and parts as they are processed and received
  • Work with appropriate tools on or around the vehicles
  • Read, understand, and follow workstation work instructions to perform required tasks
  • Provide data for reporting KPI's
Safely and efficiently operate processed vehicles
  • Drive vehicles to their appropriate stations, following a set schedule or route
  • Place vehicles on/off a 2-post lifting device as needed
  • Follow speed limit restrictions and drive in accordance with the Transportation & Handling Manual
  • Adhere to all company and safety policies and procedures
  • Drivers must have the stamina to sit, stand, or walk or several hours at a time, as well as excellent hand-eye coordination to operate vehicles while watching their surroundings to maximize safety
  • Accurately complete driver check list for each vehicle with all required information
  • Ensure all vehicle locations, movement, and staging are promptly updated
Lead team members and ensure compliance to policy & procedures
  • Ensure team members follow all company & safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Report all violations to the supervisor or management
  • Guide and assist team members in daily tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion
  • Assist with and/or perform vehicle handling audits as required
  • Assist with department training programs for current and new employees
  • Review daily logs and reports to detect recurring slowdowns or errors
  • Adjust priorities and staff assignment to ensure efficient operation based on workload
  • Prepare and maintain production reports to ensure operational efficiency
  • Communicate by telephone, two-way radio, and in-person in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner with all customers, guests, team members, etc.
  • Responsible for inter-office communications, schedules and other documents.
  • Interact with internal and external customers to provide information and data transmission within different systems
  • Facilitate communication with customers for any potential claims or vehicle delay
Compensation Range

$75,000 - $85,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
