Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Harlan, KY is seeking a Supervisor - AEL Base Pilot to deliver critical helicopter air ambulance transport with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance. You will operate within a team of medical professionals to move patients to and from facilities, ensuring aircraft readiness and accurate documentation.

The role requires substantial rotorcraft experience, instrument rating, and current medical certification.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches and comply with FAR/AEL requirements.
• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Effectively communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information following protocol for Air Evac Lifeteam change board details.
