Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage admitting personnel in assigned areas and act as a support/consultant to decentralized admission areas.
• Provide leadership and communicate policies and goals to improve staff skills and leadership.
• Manage budget and identify cost-reduction opportunities to enhance profitability and resource utilization.
• Model Service First principles and drive improvements for better service and customer satisfaction.
• Perform related duties as required without complaint.

Job is one of a working supervisor that works in the admission processes. Ensures efficient and quality services from area. Ensures integrity of admissions and federal and state compliance is met with admission processes. Responsible for up-front collections (training reporting and monitoring). Ensures that all polices and laws regarding release of information are met. Acts as support personnel and consultant in satellite areas. Provides information to the general public, visiting public, patients, physicians and physician offices. Demonstrates a polite and professional demeanor in all situations. Strives to reach and maintain goals at the highest standard in all areas of responsibility, task, and patient satisfaction as set by Administration and Corporate expectation. • Provides leadership through facilitating BMH visions/values through personal example and interaction with staff. Communicates policies and goals, which will result in enhanced employee skills, management, and leadership.
• Maintains budget and identifies opportunities for cost reduction, enhance profitability and optimal resource utilization.
• Demonstrates Service First characteristics to all. Sets example for department and other hospital personnel. Identifies opportunities for improvement resulting in enhanced service and customer satisfaction.
• Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed without complaint.
