Summary

At AbelsonTaylor Group, work that makes you feel good isn’t just what we do, it’s who we are. We create an environment where creativity thrives, teamwork flourishes, and people can do meaningful work that advances health and brighter futures.

We are seeking a Supervisor, Ad Operations & Advertising Technology to join our team. This role leads the technical implementation and governance of digital media campaigns across ad serving, creative technology, tracking, measurement, reporting, and media systems. The Supervisor combines hands‑on ad operations expertise with advertising technology leadership and serves as a key liaison among Media, Marketing Intelligence, Creative, Production, Development, and external partners.

What You’ll Do
Ad Operations & Campaign Governance
  • Own day-to-day ad operations standards and provide hands‑on oversight for digital campaign setup, trafficking, QA, launch, monitoring, updating, and archiving.
  • Administer Campaign Manager 360 structures across advertisers, campaigns, sites, placements, creatives, tags, Floodlights, audiences, and reporting access.
  • Maintain naming conventions, taxonomy, trafficking documentation, launch checklists, and quality assurance processes that protect campaign and reporting accuracy.
  • Serve as the primary technical escalation point for ad serving, tracking, delivery, publisher, verification, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Provide campaign implementation guidance to Media, Account, Creative, Production, and partner teams.
Advertising Technology & Systems
  • Help manage the agency advertising technology ecosystem, including ad serving, buying, verification, analytics, reporting, workflow, and media finance integrations.
  • Partner with Media and Marketing Intelligence teams to evaluate platform requirements, improve system workflows, and maintain reliable data movement between tools.
  • Support platform onboarding, access administration, testing, documentation, issue resolution, and vendor coordination.
  • Monitor industry, privacy, platform, and technical changes that may affect campaign implementation, tracking, or measurement.
Development, APIs & Automation
  • Partner with Marketing Intelligence, internal development resources, and internal development team on API-based reporting, SFTP data flows, automation, and platform integration initiatives.
  • Translate media and reporting needs into clear technical requirements, data definitions, acceptance criteria, and test cases for development teams.
  • Validate outputs, troubleshoot implementation issues, document workflows, and coordinate updates between technical and business stakeholders.
  • Identify repeatable ad operations and reporting tasks that can be standardized or automated while maintaining appropriate quality controls.
Creative Technology & Asset Expertise
  • Serve as a technical resource for display and digital creative assets, including standard display, HTML5, video, rich media, dynamic creative, and custom publisher formats.
  • Advise teams on specifications, file weights, dimensions, format requirements, tracking capabilities, timelines, and platform or publisher limitations.
  • Review, test, and QA creative functionality in the ad server, working with Creative, Production, development teams, and vendors to resolve issues.
  • Maintain current creative specification guidance and help teams evaluate the feasibility of new or complex ad formats.
Measurement, Analytics & Data Integrity
  • Oversee implementation standards for click tracking, conversion tracking, Floodlights, audience creation, verification, and campaign measurement.
  • Maintain governance for UTM parameters, campaign taxonomy, naming conventions, and downstream analytics requirements.
  • Partner with Marketing Intelligence to support clean reporting inputs, reconcile platform discrepancies, and troubleshoot data quality issues.
  • Understand how ad server, publisher, buying platform, verification, and site analytics data connect, differ, and support campaign analysis.
Team Leadership & Process Improvement
  • Supervise and mentor Ad Operations team members, providing workload direction, technical training, quality review, and development support.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, platform guides, training materials, and onboarding resources.
  • Promote consistent adoption of established processes while recommending improvements that strengthen speed, accuracy, and collaboration.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • 4-6 years of experience in Ad Operations, Advertising Technology, Digital Media Operations, or a related discipline, including experience guiding or supervising others.
  • Advanced hands‑on experience with Google Campaign Manager 360 and digital campaign trafficking, tagging, QA, troubleshooting, and reporting.

  • Working knowledge of advertising platforms and systems such as DV360, SA360, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Prisma, ad verification tools, and reporting environments.
  • Experience working with APIs, SFTP data delivery, automated reporting, technical integrations, or development teams. Coding is not required, but the ability to define requirements and validate outputs is essential.
  • Strong understanding of UTMs, campaign taxonomy, conversion tracking, analytics, attribution concepts, and data quality controls.
