Job summary

TACG is seeking a Supervisor to join our team at Warner Robins, GA, Robins AFB. The Supervisor will manage Contractor personnel, plan schedules, and oversee maintenance activities across multiple aircraft systems, ensuring compliance with technical orders and safety standards.

Responsibilities include directing daily work, coordinating with the Government, completing Work Control Documents, and certifying PAC program requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' related maintenance experience, aircraft depot maintenance management preferred.
  • Proven ability to supervise and lead a large team.
  • Extensive experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Leadership experience in a supervisory or management role.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance/Overhaul Supervisor oversees maintenance and overhaul activities and related aircraft systems.
  • Serve as single point of contact for Contractor personnel and liaise with Government.
  • Assign work to Contractor staff within 15 minutes of roll call and throughout shifts.
  • Complete Work Control Documents per standards, orders, and directives.
  • Perform PAC program duties and certify Contractor PAC requirements.
  • Validate and document certifications in the system and attend required meetings.
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff for daily activities and service requests.
  • Train and develop maintenance staff and enforce safety policies.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address unsafe practices.

Job description

TACG is seeking aSupervisor to join our team in support of a contract at Warner Robins, GA, Robins AFB. The Supervisor shall be responsible for the management and control of Contractor employees. They participate in meetings and discussions regarding initial planning of current and future work schedules, budget requests, staffing needs, estimates, and recommendations as to scheduling projected work. The ratio of Contractor Supervisor to contractor employees is 20 employees to 1 Supervisor.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
  • Maintenance/Overhaul Supervisor shall have maintenance/work experience and be knowledgeable of the makeup, operation, installation, and adjustment of a variety of major interrelated and/or integrated aircraft systems, subsystems, and assemblies such as fuel and hydraulic systems, flight control systems, instrumentation systems, engines, landing gear assemblies, airframe structure, avionics, and electrical systems.
  • The Contract Supervisor shall be the single point of contact responsible for Contractor personnel, including all administrative duties of Contractor personnel, and act as a liaison to the Government for contract performance.
  • Supervisors will receive daily work assignments from the Government during roll call.
  • Supervisors shall assign work to Contractor employees within 15 minutes of the end of roll call and throughout the shift as required.
  • All Work Control Documents (WCD)/tasking's shall be completed in accordance with stated job standards, technical orders, and other referenced directives.
  • Supervisor shall perform Production Acceptance Certification (PAC) program duties and shall comply with all established policies and regulations relating to the Production Acceptance Certification (PAC) Program.
  • Supervisors shall be responsible for certifying Contractor employee Production Acceptance Certification (PAC) Program requirements.
  • Supervisor and employee shall validate the certification in the system.
  • Supervisors shall attend all specified meetings to daily production meetings, roll call, tail team, and other meetings as required.
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise the maintenance staff in the performance of their daily activities including: maintenance, installation and repairs, service requests, turns, cleaning of grounds and common areas.
  • Responsible to train, and develop maintenance staff and ensure company policies, procedures and safety practices are applied.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of the property, correct any unsafe practice or situation and train all maintenance staff in the correct handling of chemicals, supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • Clearance
    • Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust
  • Education
    • High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or higher preferred
Required Knowledge/Experience
  • Position requires a minimum of 5 years' related maintenance experience, aircraft depot maintenance management experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to supervise and lead a large team.
  • Extensive experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Leadership experience in a supervisory or management role

  • Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day
  • Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands
  • Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders
  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds
  • May be required to read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools
  • Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales
  • Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear
  • Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth
  • May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc
