Job summary

Chuck & Don's Pet Food & Supplies in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a part-time Supervisor who will provide guests with an exceptional experience, assist the Store Manager in daily store operations, and share product knowledge to promote pet health.

The role requires flexible availability including evenings and weekends, strong communication, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Passion for extraordinary customer service and the well‑being of pets.
• Professional retail sales experience preferred.
• Professional supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to be educated about the products and services offered.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent communication skills‑both verbal and written.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require evening and weekend shifts.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Essential Job Functions Section

Responsibilities

Physical Demands

• Position requires a person to be both indoors and outdoors (to assist with customer carry out).
• Must be able to stand 8 hours per day with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be comfortable working with a wide variety of animals including small and large dogs.
• Must be able to work around pet hair and dander.

Starting at $16.37 per hour DOE/DOQ
