Primary Function

The Lead Cashier provides overall direction and management for the shift in the absence of the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Encourage, train, and delegate tasks to the front of the house team members in a way that promotes confidence and teamwork.
• Uphold and promote the mission and culture of the company at all times.
• Supervise all front of the house team members on the shift.
• Delegate all tasks to front of the house team members as trained by the Store Manager.
• Count and balance drawers at the beginning and end of the shift.
• Open and organize the store or close and clean the store depending on the shift.
• Understand and uphold all company policies and procedures as defined in the company manuals and standard operating procedures.
• Work with the front of the house team members on a daily basis to promote a culture of speed and accuracy in workflow.
• Promote a positive and upbeat culture in the store at all times. Have fun and provide excellent customer service.
• Work with the back of the house team members to maintain a clean and orderly store at all times.
• Become proficient on the use of our Point of Sale system and tasks related to our front of the house operations.
• Understand product offering and be able to be the spokesperson as to why our items are different than others.
• Work with Store Manager to place orders and maintain proper inventory levels to meet store goals.
