The role entails supervising designers and engineers while managing a diverse range of municipal projects, which encompass transportation as well as water and wastewater capital improvements.
The Supervising Civil Engineer oversees a team of professional and technical personnel engaged in engineering tasks, including the preparation of proposals, work estimates, studies, and reports. This role involves supporting the establishment and execution of departmental goals, as well as supervising the creation of intricate designs, plans, specifications, and budgets related to various engineering services. The Supervising Engineer is responsible for managing extensive civil engineering domains such as roadways, traffic systems, water resources, storm drainage, and sanitation, and may also offer contract City Engineer services.
