IES is seeking a Superintendent to oversee large, complex projects, ensuring safety, quality, and financial performance while coordinating staffing, materials management, and customer delivery goals.
The role requires recruiting and supervising project staff, monitoring costs, and acting as the primary on-site point of contact with customers to meet deadlines and drive profitability.
Location: Monroe, LA | $7,000 Sign-on Bonus New Hire Employee Sign-On Bonus This position includes a $9,000 sign-on bonus, paid in three installments over your first year of employment at the 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month employment milestones. Each installment is contingent upon active employment and being in good standing with the company at the time of payment. Sign-on bonus payments are treated as taxable income and subject to applicable withholdings. Overtime is available.
The Superintendent is the overall manager on a large and/or complex project, ensuring that all contracted work is developed, implemented, installed, and managed in accordance with Company requirements - including but not limited to safety, quality, management, and financial performance. All aspects of the assigned project must be carried out as efficiently as possible with respect to staffing, materials management, financial management, customer care, and customer delivery goals.

Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, and convey an appropriate professional image. Promotes the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners. Possesses proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to effectively read, write, and give oral presentations. Has excellent organizational skills and the ability to develop branch and job processes and best practices. Has a proven high skill level interpreting blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to specifications, reporting, and quality requirements. Able to travel within the branch territory and/or regional territory as needed. Possesses the ability to learn and teach Company and customer project management systems. Able to work at heights, off a ladder, and in confined spaces; lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds. Able to see and distinguish different colors, read small print, and hear and recognize audible signals such as dial tones.
Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or managerial experience preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Lead Communications Technician or similar position.
