Job summary

Reeves Young seeks a hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee field teams, subcontractors, and vendors on our construction projects in Georgia. You will manage daily progress, safety reporting, and site documentation while ensuring timely inspections and adherence to project plans.

You will contribute to maintaining Reeves Young’s brand on site, coordinate with the Project Manager and Operations, and champion safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Reading project drawings and specifications to understand owner requirements and project scope.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Adobe Reader and Viewpoint Field Work Center.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for up to 4 hours at a time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate field employees, subcontractors, and material vendors to keep the project schedule on track.
• Maintain daily progress reporting including photos, payroll, equipment time, field reports and schedule updates.
• Manage permit and inspection processes to ensure timely inspections and compliance.
• Champion the Reeves Young brand and uphold safety and quality standards on site.
• Assemble site-specific safety plans and ensure the project team understands and executes them.
• Provide input to the Project Manager on jobsite issues and coordinate with Operations to ensure production.
• Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly safety reporting and enforce safety training and plans.

What Can You Expect

• Supervise and coordinate activities of field employees, subcontractors and material vendors to expedite the project schedule.
• Maintain daily detailed progress reporting and paperwork such as daily reports including pictures of work progress, payroll and equipment time reporting for crew (if required), field reports, schedule updates and email correspondence to keep the various people involved with the project informed of important issues.
• Manage the permit and inspection process to ensure all required inspections are conducted timely and efficiently. This include maintaining and/or ensuring any deviations are corrected.
• Championing and protecting the brand of a rapidly growing Company
• Assemble site specific safety plans and ensure the entire project team understands the plan to ensure execution of said plan.
• Provide input to Project Manager on jobsite issues or conditions and confer with Operations Manager to ensure production.
• Manage all daily, weekly, and monthly safety reporting as required. This includes holding trade partners accountable for conducting and enforcing safety training and plans.

What You Bring to the Table

• Must possess the ability to read and understand project documents, e.g., drawings, specifications, RFI's, submittals, subcontracts, and the owner agreement terms and conditions specific to your role.
• Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrate willingness to learn how to use the following software applications: MS Outlook, Word, Adobe Reader and Viewpoint Field Work Center.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for 4-hour periods of time.
• May require performing general physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials.
• Must possess the ability to read and understand project owner specifications and engineering drawings.
• Must possess the ability to understand project scheduling and cost control.
• Must demonstrate good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies on project plans.
