Job summary

GeoStabilization International (GSI) is seeking a Working Superintendent to lead geohazard mitigation projects across the Western U.S. You will manage field crews, ensure safety, and drive schedule, cost, and quality outcomes on complex slope stabilization work.

This leadership role offers substantial earning potential, equity ownership, and full-travel support while advancing crew development and project delivery across demanding environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction in Geotechnical, Environmental, Civil or similar industries managing projects that involve drilling, shotcrete, slope or soils work.
• 1+ year in lead hand, foreman or working superintendent roles.
• Ability to read scopes, specs, drawings, and execute a project plan.
• Experience motivating crews and leading high-quality work.
• Strong communication—clear, direct, solution-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping the crew aligned.
• Flexibility to travel and adjust schedules as needed.
• Driver’s license (CDL A is a plus).

• Handling documentation: daily logs, photos, as-builts, checklists, compliance.

• Ensuring equipment maintenance and jobsite organization.
• Communicating clearly with clients and internal teams.

What You’ll Lead

As a Superintendent, you’ll manage field crews on geotechnical and geohazard mitigation projects across the Western U.S.

Your Core Responsibilities Include
