Job summary

Granite Construction in California is seeking a seasoned Construction Supervisor to oversee multi-site field operations, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to design specifications.

You will lead several level 1 & 2 superintendents, coordinate with engineers, material control, and subcontractors while upholding safety, quality, and environmental standards across a demanding project portfolio.

Qualifications

• 10+ years supervisory construction experience.
• Experience with Caltrans projects or knowledge of Caltrans specs preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is built per design, budget and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions with input from scheduling, engineering and materials control.
• Direct field supervisors, superintendents and other contractors to maintain productivity and contract compliance.
• Interface with on-site teams to resolve issues and ensure safety, quality and timely progress.
• Assist management in developing Work Plans, procedures, and standards to meet project goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental programs.
