We are seeking a dynamic Superintendent that is looking for a company where they can learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- The Superintendent is responsible for all field staff on a project and will make sure that projects are built according to plans and specifications.
- Supervise work of carpenters, laborers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure that material, tools/equipment, information and staff requirements are on the job site in a timely fashion.
- Handle all correspondence and forms required by the rand* office—e.g., daily reports, time sheets, safety reports, accident reports.
- Serve as a visible and integral team member in our DC market.
- Maintain project safety and meet all safety requirements.
- Interface with clients' leadership teams on schedule, updates, and challenges while communicating plans and alternative solutions.
- Audit jobsites during site walks to ensure standards are met.
- Assist teams with complex and specialty quality control issues.
- Assist teams with pre-punch walks to identify quality trends and ensure a smooth/timely punch list process.
- Act as point of contact to client.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
- 8 years experience as lead superintendent on commercial interior, retail, building renovation projects.
- Expertise with managing projects up to $10M.
- Experience directing subcontractors and scheduling all work according to the requirements of the project schedule.
- High school diploma and two years of college preferred; or equivalent years of experience required.
- Proven track record of independent judgment and decision‑making when faced with confidential or non‑routine matters.

- Interface with clients and client leadership at the highest level on schedule, updates, and challenges while effectively communicating plans and alternative solutions.
- Periodically audit jobsites during site walks to ensure standards are being met.
- Assist teams with complex and specialty quality control issues.
- Assist teams with pre-punch walks to identify quality trends and ensure a smooth/timely punch list process.
- Act as point of contact to client.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
