Job summary

NORLEE INVESTMENTS LLC is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead commercial construction projects from inception through completion on site in Siesta Key, FL. You will coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure work is performed safely, on time, and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, 5+ years of superintendent experience, and strong knowledge of OSHA standards and project scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction projects.
• Proven knowledge of construction safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and coordinating complex construction activities.
• Strong understanding of pre‑construction processes, constructability, and project scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily on‑site construction activities, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and labor forces to optimize productivity and timelines.
• Implement and enforce comprehensive safety management programs per OSHA and company policies.
• Conduct pre‑construction meetings and constructability reviews to identify challenges and mitigation strategies.

About the Role:

The Superintendent plays a critical leadership role in overseeing and managing all aspects of commercial construction projects from inception through completion. This position ensures that projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards by coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. The Superintendent is responsible for implementing construction management best practices, including pre‑construction planning, constructability reviews, and safety management protocols. They serve as the primary on‑site authority, resolving issues promptly and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery. Ultimately, the Superintendent’s leadership directly impacts the successful completion of complex construction projects while upholding safety and regulatory compliance across all phases.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction projects.
• Proven knowledge of construction safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and coordinating complex construction activities.
• Strong understanding of pre‑construction processes, constructability, and project scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification such as OSHA 30‑hour Construction Safety and Health or Certified Construction Manager (CCM).
• Experience with masonry and demolition operations in commercial construction settings.
• Familiarity with construction management software and project scheduling tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
• Previous experience working on large‑scale commercial construction projects across multiple states.
• Advanced training in safety management or risk assessment.
