Job summary

You will coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials, while maintaining strict safety standards and compliance with Barnard policies. The role requires relocation/travel to project sites, strong organizational skills, and proven ability to lead teams in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel and relocate domestically and internationally.
• Experience in heavy civil construction and supervising multiple crews.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
• Safety oriented; OSHA 10/30 certificates preferred.
• Willing to perform field work and build teams on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction safety on site and ensure compliance with policies.
• Understand project costs and budgets for effective oversight.
• Schedule and manage crew workforce, equipment and tools for efficiency.
• Review timecards and invoices to ensure proper cost distribution.
• Ensure all employees are current with Barnard safety policies and training.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel and relocate. Project sites are located domestically and internationally, so relocation and/or travel are required.
• Heavy Civil construction experience.
• Experience supervising multiple foremen/construction crews.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Safety oriented, 10-hour and 30-hour OSHA certificates are preferred.
• Strong work ethic; willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
• Ability to function as a team-builder/player
• Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment.
