Job summary

gpac is seeking a motivated Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on premier commercial projects in San Diego. The role emphasizes strong leadership and coordination with subcontractors to meet critical milestones.

You will interpret plans, ensure safety standards, and work closely with project managers to maintain schedules and budgets, while delivering high-quality results for a growing general contractor.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of commercial construction experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Commitment to safety and quality on all projects.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and field personnel is preferred.

What We're Looking For

• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and priorities
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Procore or similar construction software experience is a plus
