Role Description The Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in Southern California, responsible for overseeing daily field operations on construction projects. Project locations vary throughout Southern California. Core responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors and trades, managing site schedules, and ensuring work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and building codes. The Superintendent monitors jobsite safety, conducts regular inspections, and enforces company safety policies and procedures. This role also involves tracking progress, assisting with quality control, communicating with project managers and stakeholders, and resolving field issues to keep the project on schedule and within budget. The Superintendent maintains detailed daily reports and documentation, supports project meetings, and represents the company professionally at the jobsite.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field leadership role on commercial or large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices. Including knowledge and experience working with DSA.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Effective leadership, team coordination, and conflict-resolution skills on active jobsites.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Solid organizational and time-management abilities to manage schedules, resources, and documentation.
• Proficiency with construction management software, project tracking tools, and basic office applications.
• Commitment to a safe work environment, including experience implementing and enforcing safety programs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or a degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Southern California with flexibility to adapt to changing project priorities and conditions.
