Job summary

Lithko Contracting is seeking a Superintendent in Salt Lake City to lead phase planning and execution for large-scale concrete projects. You will coordinate with the operations team to develop a comprehensive plan, allocate resources, and drive on-site performance.

The role requires 5+ years in project execution for a self-perform GC or concrete contractor, with strong MS Office and leadership skills, and a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• 5+ years of progressive project execution experience for a large scale GC or concrete contractor.
• Self-perform concrete experience required.
• Experience with Commercial/Industrial projects and >$1M.

Responsibilities

• Develop a project plan for their phase of work.
• Understand project information and identify obstacles and opportunities for their phase.
• Prepare their team to execute using defined planning processes.
• Ensure their team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations.
• Utilize and track time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign in/out sheets.
• Ensure project execution goals are met for their portion of work.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders in a timely, accurate manner.

The Role

As a Superintendent at Lithko Contracting, you'll be responsible for planning the execution phase of the project. You'll work closely with the operational team to create an overall project plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing a project plan for their phase of work.
• Understands project information and is able to identify obstacles and opportunities for their phase of work.
• Prepares their team to execute using defined planning processes.
• Ensures their team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output.
• Utilizes and tracks time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign in & sign out sheets.
• Responsible for ensuring project execution goals are met for their portion of work.
• Communicates project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for a large scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor.
• Self-perform experience of concrete is required.
• Seeking someone with a variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial.
• In depth knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars.
• Knows how to lead people and drive results for the overall project success.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering strongly preferred.
