DPR Construction is seeking an experienced field operations leader to manage on-site teams and drive safe, efficient project execution in California. The role emphasizes aligning field work with client expectations and project goals, while integrating prefabrication where beneficial.
Ideal candidates have a strong background in field engineering or construction management, with 7+ years of experience and supervisory exposure. OSHA safety standards and strong teamwork are essential.

Drives adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements, reinforcing a culture where every team member is empowered and accountable for maintaining a safe, inclusive, and high-performing jobsite. Aligns field operations with overall project objectives and client expectations, ensuring that daily decisions consistently drive successful project outcomes and strengthen long-term client relationships. Directs on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards and reinforcing the organization’s reputation for general construction operational excellence. Identifies and integrates prefabrication strategies into construction planning and execution by coordinating with prefabrication teams, trade partners, and project leadership.
Leads, manages, and develops a team of field individuals to achieve exceptional performance and encourage talent development. Oversees all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and organizational standards. Manages coordination with project managers, self-perform team, subcontractors, and suppliers to schedule resources, resolve moderately complex issues, manage field related costs and change impacts, and maintain project momentum. Ensures compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Reviews and approves daily field documentation, including progress reports, safety logs planning documentation (i.e. pre-task-plans), and incident records, to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Reviews and communicates project status, risks, and opportunities to project leadership and relevant stakeholders, proactively addressing concerns to support project success.
Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
7 years of experience in field engineering, construction management, or a related field required. 1 - 2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred.
$125,000.00- $170,000.00
