Job summary

Tutor Perini Building Corp. is seeking a Senior Superintendent to join our project team in Oklahoma.

You will oversee field construction activities, ensure compliance with specs, safety standards, and budget targets on large-scale hotel/casino developments. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in field construction and 3+ years supervising teams, with strong knowledge of cost control, schedules, and MS Office; Prolog experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of field construction experience.
• 3+ years as a superintendent or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, cost control, schedules, and safety.

• Manage and monitor construction activity to meet contract specs and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain labor production budgets and labor control.
• Report cost codes and daily labor units; coordinate with project leadership.
• Interface with General Superintendent to resolve union issues and maintain relations.
• Monitor schedules with Project Engineers and assign work to field personnel.
• Schedule safety meetings and oversee jobsite mobilization.

As a Superintendent at Tutor Perini Building Corp., you will have the opportunity to:

DESCRIPTION:

• Manage & monitor construction activity to maintain compliance with contract specs and company quality & safety standards
• Prepare labor production budget & establishes & maintains labor control in coordination with superintendents & reviews cost reports with General Superintendent or PM
• Report cost codes and daily labor units
• Interface with General Superintendent to settle any union jurisdictional disputes that may arise. Works cooperatively & proactively to maintain labor union relations
• Monitor schedule with General Superintendent & Project Engineers, assign work to field personnel
• Schedule safety meetings and administers jobsite mobilization
• Participate in preconstruction meetings
• Review & verify weekly quantities
• Coordinate special inspections as required
• Ensure subcontractors follow Safety Procedures
• Communicate job status to Project Manager and other management team members on a regular basis
• Always represent Company with professionalism & a commitment to quality
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

• 7 or more years’ experience in field construction and 3 or more years as a superintendent
• Excellent knowledge of construction, craft activities, cost control schedules & safety
• Ability to work independently while working in a strong team environment.
• Ability to prioritize work to accommodate deadlines with minimum supervision
• Proficiency and working experience in Microsoft Office Platform.
• Experience with Prolog or similar software
• Previous experience in construction of hotels or casinos preferred
• Previous experience on projects over $50M is preferred
