Job summary

CoreWise Workforce Strategy Partners is seeking a Traveling Commercial Construction Superintendent to own and move jobsites across the South Central and Southeast U.S., leading field execution, coordinating subs, and protecting the schedule.

You’ll communicate with owners and Project Managers, make day-to-day decisions, uphold safety, and maintain clear field reports while traveling up to two weeks at a time.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial Superintendent experience with a strong track record.
• Restaurant or QSR construction experience is highly valuable.
• Experience with truck stops, active retail or interior buildouts a plus.
• Solid understanding of construction schedules and field coordination.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / PlanGrid.
• Good judgment, organization, and follow-through; safety-minded.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead jobsite operations from mobilization through closeout.
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate self-performing crews when needed.
• Maintain schedules, weekly updates and two-week look-aheads.
• Complete daily reports, photos and field documentation.
• Communicate clearly with Project Managers, subcontractors, owners and store leadership.

• Maintain a clean, organized and safe jobsite.
• Work effectively in active environments with customers or employees onsite.
• Step in on minor field needs to keep the project moving.

The Opportunity

CoreWise's client is looking for a Traveling Commercial Construction Superintendent who can take ownership of a jobsite and keep the project moving.

You'll lead field execution, manage subcontractors, protect the schedule, communicate with owners and Project Managers, and make day-to-day decisions without needing constant direction.

Projects may include restaurants, QSRs, truck stops, retail renovations and other commercial work. Some are repeatable builds. Others are more custom or design-build, where every detail may not be fully documented before work begins.

What You'll Own

What We're Looking For

Strong candidates will likely bring:

• Significant commercial Superintendent experience, ideally around 10 years
• Strong restaurant or QSR construction experience
• Experience with truck stops, active retail, renovations or interior buildouts is highly valuable
• Strong understanding of construction schedules and field coordination
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), formerly PlanGrid
• Good judgment, organization and follow-through
• A hands-on mindset and basic field capability
• A strong commitment to safety and consistent jobsite standards
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 is a plus
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet background check and drug screening requirements

Travel may extend west to Texas, north to Oklahoma and east to Florida. Some projects may allow for weekends home, while others may require being away for up to two weeks at a time.
