Job summary

L&S is seeking a Superintendent to oversee residential construction from planning to completion, including budgeting and scheduling. The role requires ensuring safety, quality, and code compliance, while maintaining the project schedule. Regular communication with the Home Office and builders is required.

The successful candidate will develop expertise across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, coordinating day-to-day activities and managing documentation and site procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years prior superintendent experience in single-family new residential construction.
• Current Tradesman or Journeyman plumbing license – or - current Wireman or Journeyman electrical license – or - EPA Universal HVAC certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to learn all 3 trades: plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
• Familiarity with computers and managing a large amount of paperwork
• Perform the physical demands of the position - working in indoor and outdoor elements with extreme variation in temperatures and weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow); climbing ladders and steep stairs, crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects more than 50 pounds, and pushing and pulling of objects
