Job summary

Lithko Contracting in Littleton, CO is seeking a Superintendent to lead the execution phase of commercial and industrial projects. You will partner with the operations team to develop the overall project plan and ensure resources are ready for the phase.

The role requires 5+ years of field experience, self-perform concrete knowledge, and strong leadership. A Construction Management or Engineering degree is preferred; proficiency with MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for a large scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor.
• Self-perform experience of concrete is required.
• Variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial.
• In depth knowledge of construction principles/practices with projects over $1M.
• Leads people and drives results for project success.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a project plan for their phase of work.
• Identify obstacles and opportunities for their phase of work.
• Prepare their team to execute using defined planning processes.
• Ensure their team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations.
• Utilize and track time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign in/out sheets.
• Ensure project execution goals are met for their portion of work.
• Communicate project status to appropriate parties in a timely and accurate manner.

The Role

As a Superintendent at Lithko Contracting, you'll be responsible for planning the execution phase of the project. You'll work closely with the operational team to create an overall project plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing a project plan for their phase of work.
• Understands project information and is able to identify obstacles and opportunities for their phase of work.
• Prepares their team to execute using defined planning processes.
• Ensures their team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output.
• Utilizes and tracks time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign in & sign out sheets.
• Responsible for ensuring project execution goals are met for their portion of work.
• Communicates project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for a large scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor.
• Self-perform experience of concrete is required.
• Seeking someone with a variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial.
• In depth knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars.
• Knows how to lead people and drive results for the overall project success.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering strongly preferred.
