Job summary

Sevan Multi-Site Solutions is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for a long-term commercial project in Sandusky, OH. This on-site role requires managing subcontractors, safety, quality, and schedule through mobilization to closeout.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in commercial/institutional construction, strong concrete construction experience, and the ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial or institutional construction experience as a Superintendent.
• Experience on ground-up or major renovation projects.
• Strong concrete construction experience: foundations, slab-on-grade, formwork, rebar, and placement.
• Proven ability to lead subcontractors and maintain aggressive schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).

• Lead day-to-day field operations on a complex commercial/project.
• Manage subcontractors, site logistics, safety, quality, and schedule.
• Drive milestones through detailed planning and coordination.
• Conduct daily field meetings and weekly look-ahead planning sessions.
• Coordinate inspections, turnover activities, and owner-facing site meetings.
• Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining schedule and budget objectives.
• Maintain strong client relationships and represent Sevan on-site throughout the project lifecycle.

Sevan is seeking an experienced local Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for a long-term large commercial construction project in Sandusky, Ohio. The Superintendent is responsible for managing on-site construction activities, including subcontractor coordination, safety, quality, schedule performance, and project execution from mobilization through closeout.

• Work Location/Travel: On-site 100% in Sandusky, OH

Work Conditions & Location

This is an on-site role at the location of the project in Sandusky, OH for the next 12 months. Multi-shift work may be required to accomplish work in active retail locations to meet aggressive schedules.

What You'll Do

• Lead all day-to-day field operations on a complex commercial/institutional construction project

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of commercial or institutional construction experience as an active Superintendent
• Experience serving as a Superintendent on ground-up and/or major renovation projects
• Strong concrete construction experience, including foundations, slab-on-grade, formwork, reinforcing steel, and concrete placement
• Proven ability to lead subcontractors and maintain aggressive project schedules
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain)
