Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services in Cookeville, TN is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead large-scale long-haul ILA installation projects. You will oversee day-to-day field operations, develop project plans, monitor performance, and anticipate client needs with practical solutions to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience as a Telecommunications Construction Superintendent or a similar role.
• Knowledge of underground fiber installation, civil or wireless construction a plus.
• Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to directly supervise craft employees as well as sub-contractors.
• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issues.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.

Working Conditions

• Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
• This is a site-based position that will require travel as needed to various Ledcor offices and project sites across multiple states on a travel rotation
