Job summary

Uprite Construction in Boise, Idaho is seeking an experienced Superintendent to manage day-to-day field operations for grocery store construction projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors while maintaining the project schedule and ensuring safety and quality on site.

The role requires taking ownership of field activities, working closely with project management, clients, and authorities having jurisdiction to deliver projects on time and to spec.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations from project startup through completion
• Lead grocery store construction projects, including ground up construction, remodels, expansions, and occupied store renovations
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, inspections, and site activities
• Maintain and drive the project schedule
• Develop short term schedules and look ahead plans to keep work moving
• Coordinate work around grocery specific systems, equipment, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and specialty vendors
• Manage construction activities in active or occupied environments when required
• Coordinate shutdowns, tie ins, phased construction, and work that must occur outside normal operating hours
• Conduct regular subcontractor meetings and communicate field priorities clearly
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project requirements
• Identify field conflicts early and work with the project team to resolve them
• Maintain high standards for workmanship and quality control
• Ensure subcontractors follow project safety requirements and company standards
• Coordinate inspections and work closely with local authorities having jurisdiction

Uprite Construction is looking for an experienced Superintendent to join our team in Boise, Idaho. This role is ideal for someone who has successfully managed grocery store construction projects and understands the unique demands that come with this type of work.

The Superintendent will be responsible for managing day to day field operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining the project schedule, overseeing safety and quality, and making sure projects are delivered successfully. We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of the field and working closely with project management, clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors.
