Job summary

Grand Banks in Tribeca, aboard a historic sailboat, seeks an Expediter to support high-volume service and ensure timely, quality presentation of dishes.

You will liaise between Front of House, Back of House and Oyster Shuckers to deliver thoughtful, timely service while maintaining DOH sanitation and team standards. Shifts include day, night, weekends, and holidays with outdoor duties and a passion for sunsets.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential job functions in a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Strong communication between Front of House and Back of House.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality control and proper presentation of food in a timely manner.
• Act as liaison between Front of House, Back of House and Oyster Shuckers for efficient service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation per DOH standards and company policies.
• Finalize plate presentation and test food temperatures as trained.
• Support team to ensure guests receive timely service.
