POSITION SUMMARY

The Resident Assistant lives onsite and serves as a mentor, advocate, and resource for Sunrise Lofts residents. This position supports residents as they transition toward self-sufficiency by fostering a safe, welcoming, and engaged community while promoting positive relationships among residents, property management, and resident services staff.

EDUCATION
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in human services, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE
  • Experience working in community engagement, residential services, social services, or customer service preferred.
  • Experience with conflict resolution, mediation, or crisis intervention preferred.Experience working with diverse populations and community stakeholders preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Working Conditions

  • Position requires living onsite at Sunrise Lofts.
  • Occasional evenings, weekend, and on-call responsibilities.
  • Frequent interaction with residents, staff, and community partners.

  • Manage multiple priorities and frequent interruptions.
