Job summary

iJuice Cold Pressed Health Lounge in Los Altos, CA is seeking an energetic Morning Opening & Prep Associate to start the day with purpose! This role is part of a health-focused team, serving fresh, cold-pressed juices and wellness items to early customers in a fast-paced lounge.

Ideal candidates are reliable early risers with experience in food service, keen attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Training on recipes and safety standards provided to ensure a smooth morning operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to work early morning shifts reliably and consistently.
• Prior experience in food service, juice bar, café, or kitchen prep preferred.
• Knowledge of or passion for health, wellness, and clean eating a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and prep procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Open the store each morning, ensuring the lounge is clean, stocked, and ready for the day.
• Prepare fresh cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and other health-focused menu items.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards during all prep and handling procedures.
• Set up and organize prep stations, equipment, and ingredients for daily operations.
• Monitor and rotate inventory, flagging low stock or expiring product to management.
• Greet and assist early customers with a positive, welcoming attitude.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the shift.
