Job summary

La Quinta Inn Oshkosh is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to support hotel dining operations. Responsibilities include cleaning tables, stocking beverages, and ensuring coffee and soda dispensers are ready for service. You will seat guests, take orders, run food, and assist with cash handling at the end of shifts.

Ideal candidates are morning-oriented, with strong customer service skills and reliable time management. This role is based at hotel locations with varied shifts and busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Cash and credit card handling experience a must.
• Experience working in food service is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong guest-focused mentality.
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and skills for working with guests and other team members.
• Being a morning person, upbeat, ready to take on the day.

Responsibilities

• Assist Waitresses and other staff by cleaning tables, removing dirty dishes, and keeping serving areas clean, orderly and stocked with supplies.
• Ensure the coffee maker, creamers and soda dispenser are full, and that tables are clean and set up per service needs.
• The Breakfast Attendant seats guests, takes food & beverage orders, runs food to customers, answers questions, and balances cash register at end of day.
• Maintain tables, beverage counters, and other customer areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Change service from breakfast to dinner as needed and help servers run food.
• Closes out register at end of day and performs general clean-up of customer and adjacent areas.
