Job summary

SitterTree is seeking childcare providers for a church in the Waco, TX area to work in its nursery or Children’s Ministry during Sunday services through the SitterTree app.

This recurring opportunity runs Sundays from 11:45 AM to 1:30 PM CDT, Sep 13 through Dec 13, 2026, at a rate of $20/hour. Eligible roles include nursery and Children’s Ministry positions, with no minimum hours required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Background check required.
• Experience as babysitter, nanny, church nursery worker, daycare, preschool, or early learning center teacher, etc.
• Experience with infant and toddler care including diaper changing, naptimes, bottle feeding, etc.
• Strong understanding of child development.
• Patient, kind, and nurturing.
• First aid/CPR certified, including pediatric.

Responsibilities

• Provide childcare during Sunday services in the church nursery or Children’s Ministry.
• Support infant and toddler care needs (diapering, naps, feeding).
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for children.
• Coordinate with church staff via the SitterTree app for schedules and updates.
