Job summary

Six Flags New England is hiring Aquatics staff for the summer season. You’ll oversee wave pools and water attractions, ensuring guest safety while earning money and enjoying summer in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour with certification and training leading to responsible, first-response duties and guest service excellence. Flexible schedules include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in fast-paced water-park environment
• Willing to complete and maintain Ellis and Associates training and certification
• Pass ride certification tests with 100% accuracy
• Understand basic rescue techniques, first aid, and CPR
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Able to communicate effectively in the English language (read, speak, and understand)
• Must be 16 years or older (15 for lower attendant)
• Able to maintain safety and guest-care standards

Responsibilities

• Keep a close eye on swimmers at water attractions
• Act as a first responder to keep guests safe
• Calculate and manage rider dispatch intervals
• Provide guests with a safe and enjoyable experience
• Ensure guests meet rider requirements for each attraction
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment around attractions and grounds
• Achieve and maintain certification to operate waterpark attractions
• Follow bio-hazardous waste disposal procedures and safety policies
• Remain “Test-Ready” with skills after certification
• Assist in other Aquatics Department areas
• Enforce Six Flags New England policies
• Perform other duties as required
