Great American Insurance Group invites interns to join its Risk Management & Insurance Internship Program in the Chicago area. The 10-week, late May through early August program offers hands-on assignments in underwriting, products, or research within a leading property and casualty insurer.

Interns will engage in networking, educational sessions, and mentorship, while gaining practical business experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.5 is required.
• Demonstrated leadership through work, internships, or campus activities.
• Strong communication and analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Junior standing with expected graduation Dec 2027 or May 2028.

Responsibilities

• Interns are assigned to a specific business unit and contribute to day‑to‑day tasks and a project.
• Connect with professionals across functions within their unit.
• Gain exposure to underwriting, products or research within risk management and insurance.
• Participate in development and networking activities to build professional skills.
