Job summary

Simon-Kucher is seeking a student intern for a 9-week program in the United States (Boston, Chicago, New York, San Francisco). You will support commercial growth, pricing and sales initiatives, and work on data-driven insights to help clients optimize revenue models and profitability.

You’ll develop pricing strategies, build financial models, and contribute to client workshops, with a focus on learning and applying analytics in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in undergrad or masters, pursuing a degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, bioengineering, public health, life sciences or related science, with expected graduation between May and June 2028.
• 0 years of work experience; consulting club or industry group experience valued.
• Able to intern for 9 weeks from June 7 to August 6, 2027.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with pricing models, sales data and financial metrics.
• Strategic thinker with passion for business growth, pricing optimization and revenue strategy.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to structure complex challenges and develop actionable solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to distill insights and make recommendations.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; SQL, Python or other analytics tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work in specialized, high-energy teams on commercial strategy, pricing and sales to help clients optimize revenue models and growth strategies.
• Develop and implement commercial growth strategies, support go-to-market plans, product launches and sales effectiveness.
• Analyze pricing data, customer needs and market trends to craft value-based pricing and maximize profitability.
• Turn analysis into actionable recommendations through financial models, segmentation, and pricing simulations.
• Prepare compelling presentations and client workshops to drive buy-in and execution.
