• Help other teams complete rooms so locations are ready by check-in time.
• Attend all Summer Staff and department meetings.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Position Objective:Room Attendants support the MHA ministry by providing clean and comfortable accommodations and a warm and welcoming place where guests can relax and refresh their spirit in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.General Qualifications:The Room Attendant is a Ministerial position. Ministerial staff render their work, stewardship, relationships and behavior as evidence of being followers of Jesus Christ while embracing and affirming Mount Hermon Association, Inc.'s (\"MHA\") mission, vision and beliefs. They are responsible for defining, cultivating and leading MHA's Christian community, conference programs and retreats.Key Job Accountabilities:Perform daily routine cleaning of housing units and complete the daily room service forms.Report all custodial/maintenance issues.Adhere to all MHA safety regulations and for maintaining a safe environment for guests and employees.Return all lost and found items with a label giving location and date found to the Lost and Found desk in the Accommodations office.Help other teams complete rooms so that all locations are ready by check in time.Attend all Summer Staff and department meetings.Other duties as assigned by Manager.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneEducation/Certifications/Licenses:High School Graduate.Current Driver’s license preferred.Work ExperiencePrior cleaning experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Exceptional interpersonal skills with people of all ages.Ability to manage time efficiently.Must be observant and attentive.Ability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure.Mature understanding and respect for authority and peers, as well as camp guidelines and principles.Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred but not required.Must be punctual and responsible.Ability to prioritize daily duties.Physical Demands:The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.Position requires constant walking and climbing up and down stairs (up to 7.5 hrs per day).
